The AON Building Lobby refurbishment is a testament to expert
craftsmanship, sustainability, and refined design. Working alongside
Savory Construction and Warren and Mahoney, our team played a
key role in transforming this high-profile space into a sophisticated and
inviting destination in the heart of Auckland’s CBD.
To introduce elegance and depth, we applied Otsumigaki plastering, a traditional Japanese technique that creates a sleek, polished texture with organic warmth. The existing timber finishes were revitalized with Resene stains, enhancing their natural beauty while seamlessly integrating with the contemporary aesthetic. Adding to the grandeur and modern appeal, soaring two-story aluminium battens surround
the SERGEANT café, making a striking architectural statement.
Despite the complexity of working in a live environment, we ensured that every finish was executed to the highest standard, delivering a
result that embodies both innovation and timeless design.
