We are proud to have played a role in creating a space that goes beyond
physical exercise—a true retreat that offers an escape from the everyday,
promoting well-being and serenity. This project is a testament to our commitment to
seamlessly blending aesthetics with functionality, delivering spaces that inspire and
elevate the user experience.
Our journey began with the creative vision of Wonder Group, who embraced the rugged
charm of the original concrete structure. Rather than concealing its raw beauty,
they sought to enhance it—introducing elements that brought warmth, refinement,
and purpose to the space. The use of rich tobacco-oak timber throughout the retreat
creates a sense of sophistication, inviting relaxation while maintaining a strong connection
to the natural materials.
To strike a balance between industrial strength and refined elegance, the design
incorporates rough blackened steel and bathhouse tiling, selected not only for their
striking visual impact but also for their durability. Every material choice was
intentional, ensuring the retreat is as enduring as it is beautiful.
This dedication to craftsmanship and detail was recognized with the Red Design
Award for Craftsmanship, celebrating the exceptional quality of finishes and our ability
to integrate them seamlessly with the raw basement aesthetic. The result is a retreat
that feels both grounded and elevated—a space designed to stand the test of time.
