Mibo Bakery is a stylish Auckland patisserie renowned for its
innovative pastries, blending Chinese flavours with traditional French
viennoiserie techniques. As the second location following the iconic
Mt Eden spot, this contemporary space in Wynyard Quarter was
designed to blend seamlessly with its vibrant urban surroundings.
Our team worked meticulously to achieve a refined, organic
aesthetic by applying Resene FX Paint Effects Medium. This
specialised technique created a beautiful, lime-washed effect that
enhances the overall warmth of the space. The soft, textured finish
perfectly complements the pale brickwork of the floors and counters
while harmonising with the light wood tones on the walls, resulting in a
cozy and inviting atmosphere.
This project was a true testament to the power of thoughtful finishes
in elevating a space, and we’re proud to have played a role in bringing
Mibo Café’s vision to life.
